Established to help businesses and employers design and implement effective workforce solutions in the nine-county area surrounding
Travis County, the Business Resource Unit (BRU) of the Rural Capital Area Workforce Centers offers each employer a dedicated source of contact in the form of a Business Service Representative who oversees a specific labor market region within the Rural Capital Area.
    Through this contact, employers have access to a world of labor market and tax information that can be specifically applied to the economic realities that exist within their neighborhood.  Further, with access to the largest job posting/matching system in the area, Rural Capital Area businesses and employers can benefit directly from reduced time, effort and cost spent in the recruiting and screening of potential employees that have been drawn from a much smaller pool.



The BRU, which is divided into 3 distinct geographic regions of the Rural Capital Area, is staffed by Business Service Representatives (BSR) who respond to the specific needs of business and employers within each of these regions.  Whether you need simple information or a full scale job fair performed for your business your Representative can make the connection for you.  Check the list below for your local BSR:
