Established to help businesses and
employers design and implement effective workforce solutions in the
nine-county area surrounding |
Travis County, the Business Resource Unit (BRU) of the Rural
Capital Area Workforce Centers offers each employer a dedicated source of
contact in the form of a Business Service Representative who oversees a
specific labor market region within the Rural Capital Area.
Through
this contact, employers have access to a world of labor market and tax
information that can be specifically applied to the economic realities
that exist within their neighborhood. Further, with access to the
largest job posting/matching system in the area, Rural Capital Area
businesses and employers can benefit directly from reduced time, effort
and cost spent in the recruiting and screening of potential employees that
have been drawn from a much smaller pool. |

The BRU, which is divided into 3 distinct geographic regions of the Rural
Capital Area, is staffed by Business Service Representatives (BSR) who
respond to the specific needs of business and employers within each of
these regions. Whether you need simple information or a full scale
job fair performed for your business your Representative can make the
connection for you. Check the list below for your local BSR:
